The Billing Module adds a powerful fees and invoicing subsystem to WebCheckout Pro’s inventory management solution. The Billing Module lets you define usage fees and late fines for each type of equipment in your inventory.
The Billing Module also allows you to create “rate cards” for each category of customer that you have. Set parameters for:
- Usage rates and late fees by minute, hour, day
- Rounded up or prorated pay periods
- Maximum and minimum daily charges
- Grace Periods
- Sales Tax
Once assessed, WebCheckout automatically creates the invoices, sends them to your customer, and manages payments. When invoices go unpaid, WebCheckout Pro will put the patron on hold, suspending services until it’s reconciled.
Invoices can be journaled and exported for processing in most third-party accounting systems.

How it Works

WebCheckout’s Billing Module imports departmental information and valid account codes so that invoices are charged to internal accounts. Credits can be setup for customers (typically students) to simulate general budgeting practices.
